[LCN Newscast] New Candler Park Pool needs your input

Our neighborhood pool needs your input!

The City of Atlanta is renovating the Candler Park Pool this Fall and
we need your help. Tell us what improvements you want to see.  What
would it take to get you to join the pool?  What will it take to get
members to come more often?  The Candler Park Pool Association needs
to know!

The City of Atlanta will spend hundreds of thousands of dollar to
improve the Candler Park Pool.  Certain improvements are necessary (a
new pump, old pipes, etc.).  Beyond that, what the community wants
matters.  The City is willing to hear our voices, but we must act
fast.

Join City staff at 6:00 PM, Friday July 28 at the pool to learn about
possible and improvements and to let your voice be heard!  Everyone's
invited.  Tell your friends!

While we gain some much needed improvements, Candler Park is losing a
stalwart in the community, especially at the pool.  The Bellinson
Family is moving to Ohio so that Robin can pursue her PhD.  Some one
(or two or three) will need to take Bert's place.

This is a new chapter for the Candler Park Pool.  Be a part of our
neighborhood's future.  Share your ideas at the meeting.  Join the
Candler Park Pool Association.  Volunteer a little of your time to
make our pool, our park and our community better.  Every contribution
is welcome!
