[LCN Newscast] New Stop signs in our neighborhood

New Stop Signs

After two years of effort, numerous phone calls and the help of
Councilwoman Natalyn Archibong, stop signs have been installed at some
secondary intersections scattered throughout the neighborhood. Almeta
and Ridewood, Nelms and Adolphus are two intersections receiving this
much needed traffic calming. In conjunction with pedestrian crossing
signs along McClendon, the neighborhood traffic is slowing down. More
needs to be done but significant strides have been made in making this
neighborhood safer for walkers, cyclists, and children at play.
