[LCN Newscast] City Council votes on Infill Moratorium on Monday

Fellow Lake Clarions,

The Atlanta City Council votes Monday (2/6) on whether to extend the
Mayor's moratorium on out-of-scale infill houses.  Monday, Feb. 6,
1:00 pm.

The measure applies to cases in which builders seek a demolition
permit to tear down a house in order to build an out-of-scale in-fill
house.  The proposed moratorium applies to Lake Claire, Candler Park,
and several other neighborhoods, and would stop permits for
out-of-scale infill for 120 days while revised codes are drafted and
reviewed at the NPU level.
