Hi,
My name is Josh Blackmon and I am a student of Anthropology at Georgia
State University. My colleagues and I are conducting ethnographic
research on various neighborhoods in and around Atlanta. We are mainly
looking at the change in areas over time. We would like to conduct some
interviews with residents of the Lake Claire neighborhood. The
respondents will be kept completely confidential and the interviews will
last as long as the respondents would like. We have a basic outline of
the type of questions that will be asked as follows:
Questions for interviews/questionnaires:
Length of residency in area
Changes during this time?
Were these positive or negative changes?
Reasons for originally moving into the area?
Before living in the area (if applicable), where did they live?
(urban/rural setting)
What sort of associations do they have for/hear about the area?
-sense of community/closeness to neighbors?
-crime?
Demographics of neighborhood?
If this is something you would be interested in please let me know as
soon a possible. I thank you in advance for your participation.
Thanks,
Josh Blackmon
