[LCN Newscast] Park Committee Meeting, Apr 05

Parks Committee,
  Lake Claire Garden Club,
    (and other Lakers and Claires):

Come One and Come All to the Spring Parks Committee meeting:
- 2005 April 05 Tuesday 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
- Sari McCorkle's house, 1845 Almeta Avenue (down at the bottom
  of the hill, next to Lake Claire Park)

Issues to be discussed:
- Gazebo rehabilitation (design, selection, funding options,
  ways to involve neighborhood carpenter and construction-savvy
  volunteers).
- Bulletin board installation (selecting a site and volunteer
  help, please note that materials are already available).
- Obtaining city approval of the above projects.
- Appointment of a park-city liaison and the status of the
  kudzu eradication project.

Our hostess, Sari, says that she will provide some munchies and
wine (for adults), but it will not be fancy as she does not want
to have leftovers.  So if anyone wants to contribute on the
refreshments front, please contact Sari.  We want to start at
7:00 p.m. and be done by 8:00 p.m!!  So please give us an hour
of your time.
