[LCN Newscast] Armed Robbery Alert, Careful After Dark

Armed Robbery Alert:

Saturday 2004 Apr 24, about 11:30 p.m. to midnight, 300 block of
Arizona, closer to McLendon Ave end.  A women was robbed at gun
point in her driveway.  The perp was a black male, 5' 10-11",
late 20's-early 30's, about 225 lbs.  He wore a black ski mask,
dark pants, dark short sleeve jersey shirt, handgun was silver
with a cream colored handle.  He took $5 and her watch.  He
only wanted cash and got very angry when she did not have much
money in her wallet.  The police have been looking for this guy,
and he has been operating not only in Lake Claire, but also
Candler Park, Virginia-Highland, and Emory areas.  Please be
careful coming in at night, check your surroundings before
getting out of the car.  If approached, give up the money; do
not go with him or get in a car.
