CELEBRATE THE FOURTH ANNUAL LAKE CLAIRE EASTER PARADE!

Mark your calendars for 2004 Apr 11 Sunday.  Rain or shine,
friends, neighbors and their pets are invited to gather at
2:00 pm at the Clifton Presbyterian Church at the corner of
McLendon and Connecticut Avenues.  Participants will get into the
spirit of the season by wearing festive hats (bunny ears are
fine) and all sorts of other Easter finery.  Kazoos will be
provided but other musical instruments are encouraged.  The
parade will meander through various side streets, past the brunch
crowds at Clifton and Mclendon, and ramble back to the church.
There will then be a special hat-judging contest with many
prizes.  Categories for kids under 12 years old include "The
Cutest" and "The Cleverest."  Adults may compete for "Best
Easter," "Best Lake Claire," "Most Outrageous," and "Best Group
Effort."  Please join us for this fabulously fashionable parade.
