Subject: [LCN Newscast] Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes, Dec 13-14

Our neighbors in Grant Park are holding their 23rd
Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes on 2003 Dec 13-14,
6:00 - 10:00 p.m.  The tour includes an old-fashioned
hayride complete with carolers serenading tour-goers
as they move from house to house.  The first stop is
the sanctuary of St. Paul United Methodist Church
where visitors can buy tickets and warm up with hot
cider and treats while shopping the Artists’ Market
for unique presents that include jewelry, pottery,
clothing, children’s gifts, and original artwork.  New
this year is Santa’s Workshop on Saturday night from
6-8 p.m. complete with the jolly guy himself.

All tour proceeds will benefit non-profit
organizations involved with restoring and enriching
the Grant Park neighborhood including St. Paul United
Methodist Church, the Grant Park Parent Network, and
the Grant Park Cooperative Preschool.  Tickets for the
Tour of Homes are $12 in advance and $15 the day of
the event.  They may be purchased in advance at:

-Agave on Boulevard
-Dakota Blue on Cherokee
-Hank’s Ice Cream on Cherokee
-Six Feet Under on Memorial
-Traders in East Atlanta Village
-The Urban Gardener on Boulevard

or on the night of the tour at:
-St. Paul United Methodist Church at 501 Grant Street.

Subject: [LCN Newscast] Meeting Reminder: Dec 11

SPECIAL NOTICE:
 - The LCN December meeting will be held on the SECOND
     Thursday of the month, rather than the third.  This
     is typical for the December meeting.
 - The December meeting is traditionally a social meeting
     with a pre-Christmas covered-dish potluck dinner.
     A very brief period of time will be allotted to business.


The next LCN meeting is 2003 Dec 11 Thursday 7:00 p.m. at the
Frazer Center; use the entrance at north end of Ridgewood Road.
