[LCN Newscast] Car-Jacking @ Candler Park

On 2003 Sep 15, Monday night about 6:30pm, there was a car-
jacking at Candler Park.  A man was sitting alone in his car
watching his son play soccer, when two perps came up with a
gun.  They put the gun in his face and demanded the car.  He
complied.  They stole a Ford Avalanche (type that converts
from truck to SUV).  The description is very general, black
males, about 5'7" to 5'8", about 130-140 lbs.  This
description also matches the description of the recent home
invasion.

Please be careful, if you are approached, give up your
"stuff," be it a car or money.  It is not worth your life.
I shall attend a Citizen's Advisory Committee meeting on
Monday (Sep 22) night with Zone 6.  These issues will be
addressed at that meeting.
