HELP SAVE HAROLD AVENUE TREES
Lake Claire Residents are appealing a plan to remove many
mature trees from 591, 595, & 601 Harold Avenue.
These parcels are adjacent to the Frazer Center forest and
contain a spring and stream that are headwaters of the
Peavine Creek watershed.
Please attend the tree appeal to help protect these trees.
Tree Commission for the City of Atlanta
2003 May 28 Wed 6:00 p.m.
Atlanta City Hall
55 Trinity Ave SW
Committee Room 2 (second floor)
Please attend the hearing to show your support for the
appeal, an alternative building plan that is more sensitive
to the site and the strict enforcement of existing tree and
zoning ordinances. A strong show of support will help
preserve the forest canopy on Harold Avenue and establish a
precedent for more environmentally sensitive development in
our neighborhood.
