TOP 3 ISSUES
Last year, Councilor Natalyn Archibong asked the neighborhood
what are our top 3 issues (that she can help with) for the year.
This issue was presented at the November meeting but deferred until
this month. The Executive Committee decided to reexamine the issue
and formulated the following issues that are topical and relevant
to the authority of the city council:
- Promote neighborhood and pedestrian friendly development of
commercial properties along DeKalb Ave.
- Keep the impact fees for the Atlanta Gas Light property
redevelopment within the areas impacted by the development.
- Effect a separation of sanitary and storm sewers in Atlanta,
rather than the overflow tunnels proposal.
These will be presented to the membership for comment and
approval.
