[LCN Newscast] 2003 Officers, and Dec Xcom Postponed

LCN Officers for 2003

At the November meeting the following nominees were presented to
the neighborhood for consideration for officers for the 2003
calendar year, taking office January 1.

-  President:  Susan Beeching 
-  Treasurer:  Kristin Chapman 
-  V.P. Communications:  Teri Stewart 
-  V.P. Planning:  -vacant- 
-  V.P. Safety:  Carol Mercer 
-  NPU Representative:  Geoffrey Dunne

Teri Stewart was nominated and seconded from the floor, the
others were recommended by the Nominating Committee at the
October Meeting.  As there was no position with multiple
candidates, president Dennis McCarthy instructed the V.P. of
Communications to cast one vote for the slate.  The vacant
position of V.P. Planning can be filled by appointment by the
Executive Committee any time in 2003--contact Susan Beeching
(editor@lakeclaire.org) if you are interested.  Lake Claire
officer e-mail accounts will be changed sometime around the
first of the year.
