[LCN Newscast] August Meeting Update

Before and/or after the next LCN meeting (2002 August 17
Saturday 10:00 am at Lake Claire Park) Paul Jennings will
be available to talk to Lakers and Claires about his
candidacy for the Georgia House of Representatives.

It seems that as part of redistricting, we are in a kind
of special district that elects not one, but two reps
to the Georgia House.  Mr. Jennings can better answer
questions about this redistricting, and about his
candidacy in general.

for political office.  However, we do encourage candidates
to meet neighbors (and vice versa) before or after meetings.
Last year we also had a Meet the Candidates program, where
several made brief presentations during a meeting.
