Something you can do BEFORE the Lake Claire Spring Fling this Saturday...

District 5 is hosting a Tire Amnesty day, this Saturday, April 20th, from
9am-Noon.  Recycle your old tires just west of the Glenwood/Glenwood Memorial
Connector (near I-20, the address might be 936 Glenwood).  There drop-off
sight will be well marked--you cannot miss it if you drive along Glenwood.

>From Lake Claire, drive along McLendon or DeKalb Ave to Moreland.  Take
Moreland Ave south a few blocks past I-20.  Turn right on Glenwood.

Old tires in yards are notorious breading grounds for mosquitoes and other
pests.  Protect yourself from the West Nile Virus by getting rid of those
critter-palaces.  We shall take ALL the tires that get dropt-off until noon.
