Notice to the Passengers of Route 6 - Emory and the residents of Oakdale
Road and North Avenue

MARTA has received a request from residents of Oakdale Road and North Avenue
to remove bus service currently provided by the Route 6-Emory along these
streets.

A community meeting will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2002 at 7:00pm at
the Epworth United Methodist Church located at 1561 McLendon Avenue,
Atlanta, Georgia.

All residents and passengers that are in favor or against removing Route
6-Emory from Oakdale Road and North Avenue, between McLendon Avenue and
Moreland Avenue and rerouting service via McLendon Avenue and Moreland
Avenue are encouraged to attend and voice their opinion.

If anyone is unable to attend this meeting, written comments are also
welcomed and should be sent to MARTA, Manager of Scheduling, 2424 Piedmont
Road, N.E., Atlanta, GA 30324-3330 or email at custserv@itsmarta.com by
