March 13: Flying Biscuit/Candler Park Supermarket Wine Tasting
  (Make reservations now!)

March 16: Fellini's Pizza
  (No reservation required.)

----------------------------------------------------

Three of Candler Park's/Lake Claire's most prominent
businesses are doing their part to make our streets safer
for people and cars. The Flying Biscuit, Fellini's and the
Candler Park Supermarket have graciously offered to host
fundraisers that will benefit the neighborhood's traffic
calming efforts. Please come join your neighbors for the
Flying Biscuit dinner/wine tasting on Wednesday, March 13,
and for pizza and beer at Fellini's on Saturday, March 16.

Proceeds from these two events will help fund a traffic
claming plan for Candler Park and Lake Claire. Bond money
obtained by Atlanta City Council President Cathy Woolard
would be used to help implement this plan. We also are
working with our new City Council Representatives, Anne
Fauver and Natalyn Archibong, in this effort. You can do
your part by eating good food, drinking fine wine, or
having a beer on Fellini's patio.

- FLYING BISCUIT WINE TASTING -

On Wednesday, March 13, at 7:00, the Flying Biscuit will
host a wine tasting on its patio to raise money for
neighborhood traffic calming. The Biscuit will be serving
a set, four-course meal complete with a different wine at
each course (the wine comes courtesy of the Candler Park
Supermarket). A vegetarian option is available. Seating
is limited to forty people, so hurry and make your
reservation. The cost is $50 per person, with all proceeds
going to Candler Park and Lake Claire traffic calming.
Please call the Flying Biscuit (404-687-8888) to make
reservations.

- FELLINI'S MARY LIN/CANDLER PARK DAY -

On Saturday, March 16, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, the Candler
Park Fellini's will host a fundraiser to benefit Mary Lin
and traffic calming in Candler Park. All proceeds from
food and drinks sold during this time will be donated for
these causes.

Consistent with Fellini's charitable guidelines, traffic
calming funds will be used to improve pedestrian safety for
students walking to and from Mary Lin, particularly the
intersection of Candler Park Drive and McLendon.

So come do your part for safer streets - all you have to do
is eat pizza and drink beer! No reservations are needed,
so join us for casual food and fun - and bring the kids.
