[LCN Newscast] 2 Public Meetings

There are two public meetings coming up:

1)  Storm & Sanitary Sewer Systems
2001 Jun 20 Tuesday 6:00pm, Atlanta City Hall, Council Chambers

A special public hearing has been scheduled for the City
Council to obtain citizen input regarding a major decision
facing Atlanta.  Namely, should the City Council select a plan
which results in partial sewer separation or in complete sewer
separation?  Information regarding the implication of each plan
will be presented at the hearing.


2)  Community 'Greenspace' Program
2001 Jun 26 Tuesday 7:00pm, Atlanta City Hall, Council Chambers

A public meeting has been scheduled to inform the public about
Atlanta's "Community Greenspace Program."  This includes the
Governor's Greenspace Program, the Consent Decree, and two other
green-space programs.
